Frank has been driving for Pohl Transportation since 2010, but started his driving career in 1979 for the Railroad. Frank was the only employee in his crew that had a valid driver’s license, so his boss asked him to get his chauffeur and commercial driver’s license. After doing so, Frank was immediately put in a truck to start hauling supplies back and forth to the crew, as well as the crew to and from their job sites.

In 1994 Frank became a CDL examiner, but it wasn’t long before he realized that he really missed driving. The following year he went back to driving over the road and has been ever since. He has pulled and hauled just about everything except reefer.
