Rod has been with Pohl Transportation since 2009. Rod started driving over the road in 1994, but took some time off to be a mechanic. In 2004 Rod took a refresher course to start driving OTR again.

Rod enjoys collecting anything to do with turtles. Rod enjoys going to flea markets to pick up new turtle items and tools. Rod also enjoys fishing, but admits it’s been a while since he’s done that. Rod also likes to play Keno. Rod also served in the Army Reserves as a 63 B10 light wheel mechanic.

Even though he enjoys “stay-cations”, Rod would one day like to drive up to Alaska.
