Tim has been with Pohl Transportation for 4 years, but has been driving both local/OTR for approximately 20 years. Tim initially completed his training as a diesel mechanic, but knowing his passion for driving since an early age, Tim chose to become a driver instead.

Tim said he has wanted to drive a truck for as long as he can remember. Tim said when he was little it was his goal to get the “big rig” drivers to blow their horn when they drove past his house. Because of this, he truly considers himself as working his dream job. That is why Tim prides himself on doing a job well done every day. And we appreciate that Tim!

When Tim isn’t working he likes to spend time with his friends, family, 4 kids and 9 grandchildren. Tim tries to just enjoy life each day. Tim has seen much of the country, but is looking forward to someday being able to just travel for pleasure. Tim said his favorite part of the country is Tennessee, he loves the mountains.
