Fred started with Pohl Transportation in 2013, but has been driving a truck since 1969. Fred also worked as a weigh scale mechanic, working on everything from the very small and sensitive to large capacity that could weigh a tractor trailer.

Fred was born and raised in Canada and met his wife Jeri while she was working in Canada. After they were married they moved to Washington. Together they have 4 kids and 10 grandkids and they enjoy the time they get to spend with them.

In his spare time Fred builds and races 1/10 scale RC cars. He and Jeri also breed and raise wired-haired dachshunds.

Fred’s daughter and son-in-law moved to Anchorage in July. Fred would like to someday take a vacation to visit them in Alaska.
