This week’s driver spot light is on Larry Hunt (Tractor 606).

Larry has been working with Pohl Transportation since 2006. Prior to becoming a truck driver, Larry worked for Corning in the factory. Larry also served in the US Army from 1982 – 1986 as E4, Spec 4, 13 Bravo in the armory. Larry served 2 years in Germany and 1 year at Fort Knox. While in the army, Larry drove a 5 ton tractor and admits that experience sparked his interest in becoming a truck driver. Fun fact- many years ago Pohl Transportation had a truck driving school and Larry was one of our students!

Larry never stops, if he is not behind the wheel of a truck he is still working. Larry loves to be busy and enjoys what he does. Larry and his wife Missy started their own business, L&M Custom Graphics, a little over a year ago. They do woodworking and vinyl designs. Larry was kind enough to make Pohl one of his wooden flags, which is proudly displayed in our lobby. Be sure to check them out on Facebook, and check out the flag in our lobby! Larry and Missy also like to ride motorcycles when they aren’t busy working. Larry would like to go back up to Washington state and visit someday.

Thank you Larry for being a part of the Pohl Transportation family.
