Gerald has been driving with Pohl Transportation since 2014. He said Pohl is the best company he has ever worked for. His father was also a truck driver for many years. Gerald started driving the week before the blizzard of 1978. Before driving he worked on the pipelines for 3 years.

When he’s not driving, Gerald enjoys just relaxing and having staycations at home. He says he spends a lot of time “puttering around” in his garage. He also does some carpentry work. He actually built his own house in 1999. Gerald’s true passion is driving and he enjoys “heading down the highway” to his next destination. And “when the end of the week comes, it feels great”.
