This week’s spot light is on Dennis Rue (Tractor 572)

Dennis started with Pohl Transportation in 1997 and worked with us for 5 years. In 2002 he chose to move on to another job, and then returned to Pohl in 2017. Dennis recently celebrated his one year anniversary with Pohl, glad to have you back Dennis! Dennis has a total of 24 years of experience driving over the road. Before becoming a truck driver, Dennis was in the US Army for 5 1/2 years and served in the first Persian Gulf War, mostly in Saudi Arabia and the edge of Iraq. Dennis was an E4 mechanic and worked on tankers and heavy equipment. Thank you Dennis for your service! Before joining the Army, Dennis worked as a trailer mechanic at Vantage Transport here in Versailles.

In his spare time Dennis likes to ride his bicycle, read and just relax. Dennis also has a coin collection that he has been adding to since he was in high school. His favorite coin is a 1923 silver dollar. Dennis also has one son Tom, who lives in Phoenix. Dennis would like to be able to take some time off and take a trip out west to visit him.

Thank you Dennis for being a part of the Pohl Transportation family.
