This week’s spotlight is on Marvin Weaver (Tractor 643)

Marvin has been with Pohl Transportation since 2003 and is approaching his 2nd Million Mile Mark of safe driving with us. Congrats, Marvin! Marvin started driving over the road in 1972 and has experience with tankers, flatbeds and hauling cattle and grain. Marvin’s first driving job was just hauling a load of corn…or so he thought. What his boss failed to mention to him was that he would be shoveling all the corn onto the semi and then off once he was at his destination. Now that was work! Over his career Marvin has been to all 48 mainland states, Canada and Mexico.

In his spare time, Marvin enjoys painting cars, woodworking, fishing, hunting, and gambling at the casino. He enjoys going to Vegas when he can as well as local casinos. Marvin has jumped out of an airplane and had the opportunity to fly a plane. Marvin enjoys spending time with his family – he has 5 kids, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Marvin would one day like to take an Alaskan cruise.

Thank you Marvin for being a part of the Pohl family.
