John started with Pohl Transportation in May 2018, bringing 2 years of OTR experience. Before becoming a truck driver, John worked as a court stenographer in several state court systems.

When John is not working, he is a caretaker of his roommate. When John is home, he takes her on day trips to the movies and church. John enjoys and takes pride in helping others when he can. John was a classically trained pianist and still loves to play when possible.

John really likes working for Pohl. John loves the family atmosphere and the friendliness and professionalism of our drivers that he’s met. John wants to give a big shout out to his driver mentor, Jay Cramer and dispatcher, Jackie. He said they make his job a lot easier.

John has enjoyed seeing so many places while he has been driving and says the scenery is amazing. He would like to visit Washington DC and Orlando one day.
