Daniel started with Pohl Transportation in April and brought approximately 3 years of OTR driving experience with him. Even though Daniel hasn’t been driving for very long, he said that he enjoys the peace and quiet of the open road. Before driving, Daniel worked as a concrete cutter and did factory/warehouse work, mostly operating heavy equipment like forklifts.

In his spare time, Daniel enjoys hanging out with his friends, riding 4-wheelers, and trap/target shooting. Daniel also likes fixing ATV’s and other small engines, and tries to attend the Rocky Top Diesel Shootout in Crossville, TN each year.

In the future, Daniel would like to own his own “Big Rig.” He would also like to travel to Japan and visit where the Dojo Marital Arts all began.
