Mike started with Pohl Transportation in May and brings with him 15 years of OTR experience. Mike started driving when he was 21. Mike spent about 10 years driving with his dad coast to coast, hauling produce. Mike also has experience with a logging company and dump trucks. Before he started driving Mike worked as a landscaper. Mike said he can tell you about any plant or tree: “how long it will live, how big it will get, and how to care for it”.

In his spare time, Mike likes rebuilding and repairing wrecked and salvaged cars. Mike’s favorite rebuild was a 2005 Mustang, which is how he got his nickname “Mustang Mike”. Mike also enjoys riding 4 wheelers on the weekend, fishing and spending time with long-time girlfriend Lisa, their daughter and 2 year-old grandson. Mike has been all over the country and seen many places while driving truck, and says that one day he would like to do that in his own “Big Rig” like his dad used to.
