John has been driving for 2 ½ years, and started with Pohl Transportation in March. John said he has seen a lot of territory while driving, but his favorite place so far has been California. He said the scenery is just beautiful. Before driving, John did railroad work and landscaping.

John and his wife Katie have been married for 10 years and they have 2 daughters, ages 7 and 5, that they absolutely adore. They like to spend time together as much as possible and being outdoors is their favorite place they like to be. One of their family’s favorite destinations has been Myrtle Beach. John also enjoys hunting, fishing, doing landscaping projects around the house and traveling.

In the future, John would like to go to Hawaii to be able to surf and Alaska to hunt. And of course, he would like to be able to explore both of those wonderful states with his family. John would also like to go skydiving and bungee jumping some day.
