Mike started his driving career in 1998, and has done both local and OTR driving. Mike was hauling coal prior to coming to Pohl Transportation in September. Before making the move to driving, Mike worked as a housekeeping supervisor at a hospital for 5 years.

Mike and his wife Sharon have been married for 26 years, and have a blended family of 5 children and 6 grandchildren. They enjoy spending as much time as they can with their family. Sharon and Mike also like taking day trips to Charleston to go out to eat and do some shopping. Mike enjoys playing a little basketball and watching the West Virginia Mountaineers and the New York Knights. He also likes to do some hunting and fishing when he can; anything to be outdoors.

On his bucket list, Mike would like to travel to all 50 states.
