Ruth started with Pohl Transportation in October, but has been driving since May of 2019. Before driving, Ruth was in the medical field for 17 years, working as a Registered Medical Assistant. Her position had her in general surgeries, doctor’s offices, hospitals and urgent care, working with patients in pediatrics all the way to the elderly. Ruth also has experience with dry cleaning and was a gas station attendant.

When she is not working, Ruth enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Danny who is also a truck driver. Ruth also enjoys spending time with her 3 boys, ages 20, 17 & 16. They enjoy shopping, playing games and traveling. One of their favorite destinations has been to Gatlinburg. Ruth also has 3 dogs that she absolutely adores: a Great Dane, a Pitbull and a Golden Retriever Mix.

In the future, Ruth would like to take a trip with the boys to North/South Dakota, Montana and to Yellowstone National Park.
