Clinton has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2013, and has spent the past 14 years in the Transportation Industry. Clinton first heard about Pohl Transportation by bumping into one of our drivers 8 years ago. 

A few things that Clinton says he really enjoys about working for Pohl Transportation is the people that he works with. Clinton said we give him consistent freight and miles, and he enjoys that every day is different.  He also likes that we have a small-town atmosphere that “you can’t beat.” When Clinton first started driving, he had paper logs instead of e-logs. He said he slightly liked the paper logs better because it was easier to correct them without having to bother the office staff. Clinton has seen a great increase in technology and more women in trucking than before!

Clinton’s words to any potential drivers coming to Pohl is that you’ll be respected and the shop does great repairs. Anytime you call in, they know your name and ask how you are doing. Clinton left us with his favorite kind of food to eat: anything with pork and his favorite snack to grab on the go is a piece of pound cake.
