Randy has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2016. Randy was constantly seeing Pohl trucks go through his area, so he decided to give Wally a call and join our company. Randy became a Million Mile Safe Driver back in June – Congrats, Randy!

In all of his years of driving, Randy has seen many changes in the trucking industry. Randy started his driving career with paper logs, using a CB and no in-cab navigation. He said if you needed directions to a customer, you called dispatch to help you out. Now, he says e-logs and the in-cab navigation are more convenient and easier. Randy says the Pohl family is awesome. If he needs home, he gives dispatch a notice ahead of time and they are willing to work with him.

Some advice that Randy would like to give to current, new and potential drivers is to be courteous on the road, stay in the right lane and get out and look when backing. Randy highly recommends Pohl to any driver looking for a great company. Randy’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Denny’s and his favorite snacks are Buffalo Blue Cheese Combos or buffalo snack wraps.
