Rupert has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2016. Rupert’s wife had a friend that worked here and she wanted him to work at Pohl, too.  Rupert has been the Driver of the Month and Safety Bonus recipient- Congrats, Rupert!

In all of his years of driving, Rupert has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the truck improvements. Rupert likes that the trucks are now automatic, easier to run and have more power. Rupert enjoys working at Pohl because they help you out and get you home, and he plans on staying with Pohl till he is retired.  

Some advice that Rupert would like to give to current, new and potential drivers is to watch out for 4-wheelers, stay in the right lane when you can and take your time.  Rupert’s favorite homemade meal is biscuits and gravy, favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse and his favorite snack on the road is boiled eggs.
