Scott has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2017. Before joining the Pohl team, Scott kept seeing our trucks out on the road. He got in touch with our old Safety Director Wally, and kept in contact with him before making the switch to Pohl. Scott has been the Driver of the Month – congrats Scott!

In all of his years of driving, Scott has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the trucks. The trucks are now automatic and are more spacious. When he first had to make the change from paper logs to e-logs, he hated it. However, Scott now says the e-logs are more useful and easier. Scott says he really enjoys working for Pohl; he likes getting home weekly, constant dispatch and the shop is great.

Some advice that Scott would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to not be scared to ask any questions. Scott’s favorite homemade meal is steak and pasta and his favorite snack to grab on the go is boiled eggs.
