Tim has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2018. Tim saw our trucks on the road and liked the color of the Volvo’s, so he decided to join our team. Tim has been the Driver of the Month before– Congrats Tim! 

In all of his years of driving, Tim has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the change in the regulations and rules. Tim said navigation has been a huge help in the transportation industry and even though he misses driving a standard, he likes the automatics. Tim enjoys working at Pohl because everyone treats him like gold. 

Some advice that Tim would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is when you come to Pohl, use the driver mentor that dispatch gives you. Your driver mentor can help you with questions about customers and PeopleNet.  Tim said his favorite meal is pizza and favorite snack to grab on the go is dehydrated banana chips.
