Gary has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2019. Gary heard about Pohl through a friend and also saw us on Facebook. He then gave Angie a call and decided to join the team! Gary also has his dog, Mitchell, as his co-pilot! 

In all of his years of driving, Gary has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the trucks. Gary likes the space in the Volvos. He said the e-logs took some time getting used to and he likes to use his Rand McNally for navigation. Gary enjoys working at Pohl because it is a friendly atmosphere and good people work here.

A tip to current, new or potential drivers that Gary would like to give is that days can be rough, but be patient. Gary’s favorite meal to eat is spaghetti with clam sauce and his favorite snack to grab on the go is a cinnamon bun with coffee in the morning.
