Joe has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2019. Joe made the move to Pohl after seeing our trucks out on the road.

In all of his years of driving, Joe has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the change from paper logs to e-logs. Joe would rather do things the old school way. He keeps and uses an atlas in his truck along with PeopleNet navigation. Joe enjoys working at Pohl because of the great family feel atmosphere. He says you are treated great, everyone knows your name and they work with you.

Some advice that Joe would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to be patient and listen to seniority drivers. He also encourages drivers to make the change to Pohl because they offer a great family feel and get you home on a regular basis. Joe said his favorite homecooked meal is steak and potatoes and favorite snack to grab on the go is sharp cheddar cheese.
