Charlie has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2020. Charlie made the change to Pohl after talking to another driver that he used to work with who also worked here.

In all of his years of driving, Charlie has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in equipment and the trucks. Charlie likes driving an automatic; he says it has helped drivers and makes their job easier. He enjoys that technology is making their job more relaxing and easier. Charlie enjoys working at Pohl because the people and management have great relationships. He likes how everyone builds relationships and wants to get to know you. 

Some advice that Charlie would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to balance your health and job. He says patience is also number 1 and to not be afraid to talk to your Driver Manager. Charlie says make sure you don’t get in a hurry and respect your job. Charlie’s favorite homecooked meal is spaghetti and meatballs and his favorite snack to grab on the go is an ice cream sandwich.
