George has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2021. George found Pohl Transportation through Facebook. 

In all of his years of driving, George has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being changes in technology. George likes to use his Rand McNally and Garmin GPS. He loves the Volvo’s and says the change from paper logs to ELD’s have been beneficial for the companies and drivers. George enjoys working at Pohl because he likes the runs and drops and hooks. He also likes the flexibility at Pohl and how they try to fix any issues. 

A tip to current, new or potential drivers that George would like to give is to not be afraid to reach out to seniority drivers to ask for more information about specific customers. George’s favorite homecooked meal is meatloaf and favorite restaurant is Olive Garden. His favorite snack to grab on the go is Twinkies.
