Michael has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since January of 2022. Michael first heard about Pohl from seeing one of our trucks parked near his home. He then reached out to Pohl when he was looking for a change.

In all of his years of driving, Michael has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Michael has used both a Garmin and Rand McNally for navigation and likes them both. He also does not mind the e-logs. Michael enjoys working at Pohl because of the friendly people and they all know you by name.

Some advice that Michael would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is that this is a rewarding career when your job is done correctly. Michael’s favorite restaurant to eat at is anywhere that has seafood. His favorite homecooked meal is meatloaf and his favorite snack to grab on the go is sunflower seeds.
