Charles has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since March of 2022, but was previously with us for over a year. Charles has also been named Driver of the Month here at Pohl.   

Charles has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Charles went through the transition from paper logs to e-logs. He says at first he did not like it, but now it is great. He also likes how spacious the Volvos are. Charles says everyone at Pohl is nice, helpful, easy to get ahold of, and they work with you. These are all of the reasons why he enjoys driving for Pohl.  

Some advice that Charles would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to make the change to Pohl. We have a friendly staff and well-maintained equipment. Charles’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Red Lobster. His favorite homecooked meal is steak and baked potatoes, and his favorite snack to grab on the go are chips.
