Chris has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since October of 2022. Chris found out about Pohl by seeing one of our trucks at a fuel stop along I-70. He then decided to research the company and thought we were a great fit!  

Chris has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Chris went through the change from paper logs to e-logs. He says he likes the e-logs better as they are easier to use. Chris likes to use his Rand McNally for GPS navigation, and says the Volvo’s are nice trucks and ride the best. Chris enjoys working for Pohl because we keep him running and we have friendly staff members. 

Some advice that Chris would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is that safety is always #1. Chris’s favorite homecooked meal is meatloaf with green beans, carrots, or asparagus. His favorite restaurant is Red Lobster and his favorite snack to grab on the go is a Nutri-Grain bar.
