Tom has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since September of 2022. Tom first saw our trucks out on the road, then looked us up online and contacted us!

In all of his years of driving, Tom has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the change from paper logs to e-logs. Tom says he has a mixture of pros/cons about paper logs and e-logs. Tom enjoys driving a Volvo; he says they run well and are spacious. Tom likes to use Google Maps for navigation. Tom enjoys working for Pohl because he likes our freight and how we are mainly drop and hook. He also likes how we pay for your miles home and all empty miles. He says, it can’t get much better than this.

Some advice that Tom would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to give it a try and make the change to Pohl. Tom’s favorite restaurant to eat at is any family style sit down restaurant. His favorite homecooked meal is steak and potatoes and his favorite snack to grab on the go is chips.
