Larry has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since February of 2023. Larry had always seen our trucks in his area, and we are so glad he decided to give us a call when he was looking for a change!   

Larry has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Larry prefers using the ELD’s and says it is the way to go. He likes to use his Rand McNally GPS for navigation and says the Volvo’s are like driving a Cadillac and loves the table in the back. Larry says he enjoys driving for Pohl because of the people, our customers, and our CSA scores are all great. 

Some advice that Larry would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to always take your time whether you are driving, backing up or delivering a load. Larry’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Peking Chinese restaurant in Pikeville, KY. His favorite homecooked meal is biscuits and gravy and his favorite snack to grab on the go is Lay’s Sour Cream and Onion chips.
