Chris has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since May of 2023. Chris heard about Pohl through other drivers and has heard we have a good reputation.

Chris has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Chris went through the change from paper logs to ELD’s. He says there is pros and cons of the changes, but the ELD’s, they are quicker and more accurate. Chris likes to use the app CoPilot for GPS navigation. Chris enjoys working at Pohl because he likes his dispatcher, everyone is friendly, and we have great equipment.

Some advice that Chris would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to remember that the trucking industry is a lot different than what it used to be and Pohl is a great company to work for. Chris’s favorite homecooked meal is rigatoni and meatballs. His favorite restaurant to eat at is Olive Garden and his favorite snack to grab on the go is cucumbers.
