Don has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family for a total of 2 years. Don first heard about Pohl through a friend that used to work here.     

Don has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Don went through the transition from paper logs to ELD’s, and says he enjoys running off the ELD’s more than paper logs. He says you don’t have to do math and it is less time consuming. Don likes to use his Garmin GPS with Google Maps for navigation, and loves driving the Volvo’s because they are spacious and have a foldable table inside. Don enjoys driving for Pohl because we are friendly, we work with you and we have a great family atmosphere.   

Some advice that Don would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to be patient and don’t sweat the small stuff. Don’s favorite restaurant to eat at is El Toro’s Mexican. His favorite homecooked meal is chicken noodles and dumplings and his favorite snack to grab on the go is Chex Mix.
