James joined the Pohl Transportation Family in May of 2023. James was looking online for a new job when he came across Pohl, and decided to join our team!

James has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. He likes to use his Rand McNally GPS for navigation and loves the Volvo’s. James enjoys working at Pohl because we have consistent freight, everyone is polite, and we are flexible. 

A tip that James would like to give to current, new, or potential drivers is to make the change to Pohl. He says we have a different atmosphere, we keep you running, and you get the respect you deserve. James’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Mr. Tequila’s Mexican Restaurant on Fort Myers Beach. His favorite homecooked meal is lasagna and his favorite snack to grab on the go is a cherry pie and chocolate milk.
