Mark has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since March of 2023. Mark actually heard about Pohl through another driver out on the road, who was also looking to make a change to another company.

Mark has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Mark went through the transition from paper logs to ELD’s. He says he did not enjoy the paper logs as they were very time consuming, but now the ELD’s do it all for you. Mark likes to use Smart Truck Route for navigation. Mark enjoys working at Pohl because we are family friendly and work with you. He said he wishes all companies would maintain a relationship between driver and company like we do.

Some advice that Mark would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to pay attention to everything and do not assume anything. Mark’s favorite restaurant to eat at is O’ Charley’s. His favorite homecooked meal is spaghetti and meatballs and his favorite snack to grab on the go is fruit.
