Kim joined the Pohl Transportation Family in June of 2023. Kim always wanted to work for a small family-owned company, so when he was searching on Driver Pulse, he decided to check us out!

Kim has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Kim had to go through the change from paper logs to ELD’s. He says he enjoys using the ELD’s because you do not have to stop to fill out your logs. Kim likes to use his Hammer Trucking GPS for navigation and loves driving a Volvo. Kim enjoys working at Pohl because we have great communication, likes the pay, everyone knows you by your name, and the home-time is great.

A tip that Kim would like to give to current, new, or potential drivers is to be ready for a bumpy road. Kim’s favorite homecooked meal is yellow rice, curry chicken, and potato salad. His favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse and his favorite snack to grab on the go is a burger.
