Gregory joined the Pohl Transportation Family in August of 2023. Before making the change to Pohl, Gregory had seen our trucks on the road and talked to one of our drivers at a truck stop.

Gregory has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Gregory went through the change from paper logs to ELD’s and says the ELD’s are easier once you learn it. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and loves driving a Volvo. Gregory enjoys working at Pohl because the staff is friendly and we have great equipment.

A tip that Gregory would like to give to current, new, or potential drivers is that this is a tough industry, but you have to stick with it. Gregory’s favorite restaurant to eat is at is Ruth’s Chris in Richmond, VA. His favorite homecooked meal is salmon and his favorite snack to grab on the go is trail mix.
