Bob joined the Pohl Transportation Family in August of 2023 after speaking with one of our current drivers.  

Bob has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Bob went through the change from paper logs to ELD’s and says the ELD’s are more legal and safer. He likes to use the Rand McNally GPS for navigation and says the Volvos are his favorite trucks. Bob enjoys working at Pohl because he gets good miles, pay, and great hometime. He also says we have great equipment and everyone is respectful.   

Some advice that Bob would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to not always rely on technology and to follow road signs instead. Bob’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Texas Roadhouse. His favorite homecooked meal is BBQ ribs and his favorite snack to grab on the go is trail mix.
