Troy joined the Pohl Transportation Family in December of 2023. He heard about Pohl through his son, who is also a driver for us!
Troy has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Troy went through the change from paper logs to ELDs and say the ELDs are more convenient. He says he enjoys driving a Volvo, they are great trucks! Troy enjoys working at Pohl because everyone is nice and no one bothers you.

Some advice that Troy would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is that Pohl is a good company to work for. Troy’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Iron Skillet and his favorite homecooked meal is chicken, dumplings, and dressing. His favorite snack to grab on the go is pinwheels.
