Melanie joined the Pohl Transportation Family in January of 2024 after hearing about us through a friend.  

Melanie has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Melanie has always run off of ELDs and says they are easy to use. She likes to use her Garmin GPS for navigation and loves driving a Volvo because they are spacious and powerful. She enjoys working at Pohl because we keep our word, we keep you moving, and the shop is very helpful.  

Some advice that Melanie would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is that there are many ups and downs of trucking, but to stick with it. Melanie’s favorite homecooked meal is turkey, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole. Her favorite restaurant to eat at is Bob Evans and her favorite snack to grab on the go is Twinkies.
