Ron joined the Pohl Transportation Family in January of 2024 after hearing about us through another driver. 

Ron has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Ron went through the change from paper logs to ELDs and says the paper logs were more flexible. He likes to use an atlas for navigation and says the Volvos are nice trucks. He enjoys working at Pohl because we are flexible, we get you home, and we work with you.     

Some advice that Ron would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to have respect and common courtesy. Ron’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Longhorn Steakhouse. His favorite homecooked meal is lasagna and his favorite snack to grab on the go is Reese’s Pieces
