Tony joined the Pohl Transportation Family in January of 2024 after seeing our ad on Facebook. Tony has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. When Tony started his trucking career, he started on ELDs and says he likes them. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation. Tony loves driving a Volvo because of the dinette set, driver comfort, and how spacious they are. He enjoys working at Pohl because everyone is open, understanding, personable,
and friendly.

Some advice that Tony would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to always make time for yourself. Tony’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Grandma’s Kitchen in Walcott, IA. His favorite homecooked meal is any southwest Cajun cuisine and his favorite snack to grab on the go is protein bars.
