Forest joined the Pohl Transportation Family in January of 2024 after seeing our trucks on the road.   

Forest has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Forest went through the change from paper logs to ELDs and says he likes using the ELDs over paper logs. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and says he loves driving a Volvo because they ride good and are spacious. Forest enjoys working at Pohl because we keep you running and he makes good money.   

Some advice that Forest would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to learn as much as you can, as fast as you can and to take your time. Forest’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Golden Corral. His favorite homecooked meal is meatloaf or BBQ chicken and his favorite snack to grab on the go is Cheetos.
