Gary joined the Pohl Transportation Family in January of 2024 after seeing our ad on Facebook.

Gary has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Gary went through the change from paper logs to ELDs and says he likes using the ELDs over paper logs. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and says the Volvo’s are a decent truck. Gary enjoys working at Pohl because he likes the drivers and the people.

Some advice that Gary would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to always be careful and watchful. Gary’s favorite restaurant to eat at is any homestyle restaurant. His favorite homecooked meal is BBQ and his favorite snack to grab on the go is fruit
