Merrick joined the Pohl Transportation Family in March of 2024 after seeing our ad on Facebook.

Merrick has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Merrick went through the change from paper logs to ELDs and says there are pros and cons of both. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and says the Volvos are different, but nice trucks. Merrick enjoys working at Pohl because of consistency in miles, pay, and hometime.    

Merrick’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Denny’s. His favorite homecooked meal is meatloaf or beef tips and his favorite snack to grab on the go is broccoli.
