Julian joined the Pohl Transportation Family in May of 2024 after seeing our ad on Driver Reach.

Julian has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Julian has always used ELDs, but says there are pros and cons of it. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and says the Volvos are a good truck. Julian enjoys working at Pohl because we do not micromanage and we are patient.

Some advice that Julian would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is that patience is key in the industry and to stick it out. Julian’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Cracker Barrell. His favorite homecooked meal is chicken and rice and his favorite snack to grab on the go is Cheez-Its.
