Tim joined the Pohl Transportation Family in September of 2024 after seeing our ad online. 

Tim has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Tim went through the change from paper logs to ELD’s and says the ELD’s are now helpful. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and says this is his first Volvo he has driven and it is a good truck. Tim enjoys working for Pohl because of the $4000 sign on bonus and the small atmosphere.  

Some advice that Tim would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is that this industry is a demanding job, but it has its benefits of traveling. Tim’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Texas Roadhouse. His favorite homecooked meal is sirloin steak and his favorite snack to grab on the go is Cheetos.
