Corey joined the Pohl Transportation Family in October of 2024 after hearing about Pohl through his friend Philip Moore, who also works here!  

Corey has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Corey used paper logs for a short period of time, but enjoys using the ELDs more. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and likes driving a Volvo. Corey enjoys working for Pohl because the miles and the pay are good.  

Some advice that Corey would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is that you are the captain of your ship. You have the decision if you can drive in bad weather or not. Corey’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Cook Out in Greenville, NC. His favorite homecooked meal is tator tot casserole and his favorite snack to grab on the go is Funyuns.
