Robert joined the Pohl Transportation Family in September of 2024 after seeing our ad on Facebook and talking to one of our drivers. 

Robert has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Robert went through the change from paper logs to ELD’s and says the ELD’s are easier. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and likes driving a Volvo. Robert enjoys working for Pohl because we keep him moving and we have comfortable trucks. 

Some advice that Robert would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to give Pohl a chance and they will work with you. Robert’s favorite restaurant to eat at Texas Roadhouse. His favorite homecooked meal is meatballs and his favorite snack to grab on the go is Fig Newton cookies.
