Tom joined the Pohl Transportation Family in September of 2024 after seeing our trucks on the road. 

Tom has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Tom went through the change from paper logs to ELD’s and says the ELD’s are easier. He likes to use the Truckers Path GPS for navigation and likes driving a Volvo. Tom enjoys working for Pohl because we are a family-owned business and dispatch is helpful. 

Some advice that Tom would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to have a lot of patience in this industry and to make the change to Pohl. Tom’s favorite restaurant to eat at Texas Roadhouse. His favorite homecooked meal is lasagna and his favorite snack to grab on the go is pistachios.
