George joined the Pohl Transportation Family in October of 2024 after seeing our ad on Facebook. 

George has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. George went through the change from paper logs to ELD’s and says the ELD’s are easier. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and loves driving a Volvo. George enjoys working for Pohl because we treat you like family and everyone is helpful. 

Some advice that George would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to make the change to Pohl. He say this is the best company he has worked for in 25 years. George’s favorite restaurant to eat at Golden Corral. His favorite homecooked meal is steak and his favorite snack to grab on the go is Pringles.
