John joined the Pohl Transportation Family in December of 2024 after seeing our ad online. 

John has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. John went through the change from paper logs to ELD’s and says the ELD’s are easy to use. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and likes driving a Volvo because they are spacious.  John enjoys working at Pohl because everyone is nice to you and you are not micromanaged. 

Some advice that John would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to pay attention to what you are doing. John’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Texas Roadhouse. His favorite homecooked meal is lasagna and his favorite snack to grab on the go is a granola bar.
