Ray joined the Pohl Transportation Family in December of 2024 after hearing about us through one of our drivers, Sharrod Collins!

Ray has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Ray has always used ELD’s and says they are easy to use. He likes to use Trucker Path GPS for navigation and likes driving a Volvo because the turning radius is great. Ray enjoys working at Pohl because he gets home weekly.

Some advice that Ray would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is that this is a hard industry, but to keep pushing. Ray’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Outback Steakhouse. His favorite homecooked meal is BBQ and his favorite snack to grab on the go is a Tastykake.
